The Beatles Album
The Beatles Album: Tour EMI Studios in London
A plain white sleeve, with only the band's name, The Beatles album, came to be called the White Album. Many believe it's the greatest album of all time. With its 30 songs, the Beatles Album tracklist is a gem for Beatles music collectors. The Fab Four wrote much of The Beatles Album between March and April 1968 during a Transcendental Meditation retreat to India. And another interesting tidbit is that they each recorded their work separately until they met back up at EMI Studios in London to pull it all together.
It was a tenuous time for the group, with an abundance of creative differences, relationship issues, and Ringo Starr even left the band briefly. All these problems eventually ended in the band's breakup. Still, the Beatles Album has 30 hits that are as popular today as ever. Beatles music like "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," "Helter Skelter," "Sexy Sadie," 'Julia," and " "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" make The Beatles Album a creative masterpiece.
