Tony Maddalone...
I have been a Beatle fan
since February 9, 1964. Having family a few miles away from Liverpool, in a town named
Leigh, I have had several opportunities to experience the city's unique
culture throughout my life. During each visit there, I have gained an
increasingly deeper
appreciation of the roots of the Beatles, the place they call
home. The Beatles' demeanor, especially the their humor, that you see in both 'A Hard Day's Night' and 'Help' are
characteristic of the people of Liverpool This becomes very apparent to you
during your stay in the city.
I
have always been equally awed with Beatle sights in London. The first
time I 'crossed over' at Abbey Road is marked as one of the significant
events in my life. If you do this once in your life, do it barefoot. I
did, on a 30 degree, wet, raw winter day.
To me, The Beatles were a
single entity, the whole being greater than the sum of the parts. They
were the catalyst of the sixties and made it a remarkable time to
be alive and now, a time to re-live.
Perhaps
now you can sense why I have such a passion for our tour. There are
generations of fans all over the world without their equivalent to a
'Graceland' to retreat back to fond memories. It is our mission to
present the Beatles' England to you with authenticity,
thoroughness and respect that every fan deserves. Of course,
there is great fun to be had on the way.
Since 1995, I
have spent hundreds of hours planning and doing research to build
The Beatle Pilgrimage Tour. In the process, I have
become obsessed with delivering the best Beatle, and overall UK, tour of
it's kind. Let us bring you back to the sixties.
Richie Rollo
[see
'Richie's Corner']... Rich
brings a whole new dimension to our tour. Not only is he one fine guitar
player but I have never met a person as knowledgeable about, not only
The Beatles, but the entire British Invasion era [and then some].
We're
talking about a guy with [what?] sixteen guitars and a rock memorabilia
collection he has to keep in a vault. His knowledge qualifies him as the tour's official
historian. Go ahead, ask him a
question. He will amaze you as he does me. The stories & information flow out of him
continuously during the tour.
Richie's
is there to help us separate fact from legend and he's a great host. His
guitar will get us rollin' with a few Beatle tunes during nights out in pubs like
the Jacaranda.
Pat
O'Brien & Gerri
Gilberti... Pat & Gerri are our back
up hosts that are on hand to host tours when needed. Each of these
guys are competent hosts that have lots of experience managing our
tour.
Together, we're your hosts on ...The Beatle
Pilgrimage
Tour We enjoy what we do.

provides you with an itinerary through The Beatles' Liverpool & London
by our professional beatle guides, the best in the business.
A tour group usually
consists of no more than 50 people. The size of the group is large
enough to meet and mingle with new friends, yet small enough for
efficient tour coverage in a casual & relaxed atmosphere and pace. Your
privacy is always respected. No rushing about, No 'cattle drive' tour
methods used on the
this tour and we believe it to be a great value for your money. The
tour is well managed by an experienced staff from both the US & the UK
The tour provides an accurate account and historical insight into the world of The
Beatles. Visit the Liverpool that bred 'Four Lads
that shook the World'. The London where the 'lads'
matured as musicians and artists. Every guest will experience, at least, one emotional moment
that will be very special them. Everyone
has a different place that brings this on, discover
yours.
You will find different variations of
the tours we schedule throughout the year. We try to put together a
great mix of British attractions that we have found most of guests have enjoyed
during our past tours.
For those Beatle memorabilia shoppers,
there are plenty of Beatle stops and Beatle shops, and other curios, all
along the tour. Additionally, you will have opportunities to visit the
open markets in London where 'treasures' can be found. We are constantly
looking for new and interesting Beatle related places to see as well as
more traditional British tourist attractions
During the first
evening in Liverpool, we invite all our guests to a
'Liverpool Pub Night' banquet which we host on
each scheduled tour. This event gives the tour
group an opportunity to get acquainted with each
other before the actual tour activities begin. There is
some pub hopping and party festivities during the tour
however, alternatives to alcoholic beverages are always available for
our young guests and guests that avoid consuming alcohol. Additionally,
Vegetarians are always a consideration when planning tour activities.
In addition to the wonderful Beatle
sights, other activities, 'side' tours and themes are constantly being added to the
tour's itinerary. The standard sights that
are seen during every tour
are listed on the
Standard Sights
page . Special guest appearances and events are
arranged and vary from tour to tour.
Please have a look
around our site and feel free to contact us with any
questions or suggestions . We are only a 'click'
