Frequently Asked Questions
Where is a good place to start to find information about your tour on your website ?
Start with the 'Tour Overview' Page and take it from there.
What is the difference between a Schedule Group Tour and a Private Tour?
The major difference between the two types of tour packages is that Schedule Group Tours, as well as our Student Tours, are escorted by a host that is a member of our staff. Private Tours are non-escorted. For Private Tours you are provided a very detailed version of our Beatles Pilgrimage Tour Survival Guide.
What is the Beatles Pilgrimage Tour Survival Guide.
This is an information package sent to all guests, regardless of which tour package is selected, 3-4 weeks prior to departure. The guide is also made available on the web. It includes a day by day calendar of times & events occurring each day, with contact information, contingency plans, safety, travel, and cost saving tips such as best methods for currency exchange, things to avoid [e.g., tourist 'rip offs'] as well as things not to avoid. Whether it is your first trip abroad or you are a seasoned European traveler, you will find the guide extremely informative. For our non-escorted Private Tours, the guide is your 'escort' and it has a time tested, proven track of success to ensure an enjoyable, stress-free, and flawless tour. Our guests that have taken our private tours have bestowed many compliments on the quality & usefulness of the guide as they traveled the streets of London, Liverpool, and Hamburg.
What about my flights to and from Europe?
Firstly, all tour packages are sold as Land Packages and do not include the cost of flights to and from Europe. You are not required to obtain transatlantic flights through us. You may book your own flights and we will be more than happy to assist you in finding the most convenient and inexpensive flights available however, you will make the purchase directly with the air service provider.
For our guests departing from the US and Canada, we offer an Air Upgrade to our Land Packages. If you select this option, we will use our vast network of air service providers to find you the most convenient and inexpensive flights. The cost of the Air Upgrade is the actual cost of the flights plus a 5% processing fee.
It is important to know that if additional flights are required to accommodate your tour itinerary, they are included in the price of our Land Packages. For example, if you include the Hamburg option to your itinerary, the flight from London to Hamburg IS included in our Land Package. In this example, your flights to Europe should be planned arrive in Manchester [MAN] and depart from Hamburg [HAM].
Transportation between Liverpool and London is also included in all our Land Packages.
Tell me about the hotels used during the tour?
In Liverpool, we use the Hard Days Nights Hotel exclusively, except our student package where top quality 3 Starr hotels are used.
In London, there is a new breed of top quality, modern, spacious hotels emerging throughout the city that is our choice and where guests that have already taken our tour have enjoyed their stay. These hotels are conveniently located in Central London. The hotels are clean & safe with a pleasant and accommodating staff. Each hotel we use has a restaurant, cafe & bar that stay open late however, they are not 'luxury' hotels and room service is not available. All hotels are en suite, air conditioned, with a flat panel television and are much more spacious than the traditional small hotel rooms that are common in London. You will be pleased with our selection of London hotels.
In Hamburg, we use clean, safe 3 Starr hotels conveniently located near the attractions listed on your tour itinerary.
Are meals included in the tour package?
A hot, cold and healthy 'all you can eat' breakfast buffet is included each morning in all our tour packages. If your itinerary includes cities outside the UK, such as Hamburg, we make every effort to include breakfast but we do not guarantee breakfast is always included. The manner in which breakfast is treated in hotels in continental Europe is very different than that in the UK. In such cases, breakfast can be purchased nearby at a local cafe or restaurant.
All other meals are not included in our tour package with the following exceptions; Dinner Party at the London Hard Rock Cafe, 'Box' Lunch during Liverpool full day tour, in London - we have a fish n chips [other selections available] at 'Ringo's Pub', the pub scene during Ringo's deserter scene in 'A Hard Days Night' while watching the movie on the big scene... fans love it!
Additionally, other meals may be included in your specific itinerary.
The cost of alcoholic beverages are always the responsibility of our guests.
Would you explain how I can book a tour?
The booking or reservation process begins by completing our Reservation Form. There are three versions of the form, one for each type of tour [Schedule Group Tours, Private Tours and Student Tours]. The forms can be found by clicking on any of the 'Get A Price Quote' links found throughout our site including the navigation bar at the top of each page.
Once you complete the form and click the 'Submit' button, we will receive the form via email and prepare a Reservation Statement. The statement will be emailed to you within one week of receipt of your request. There is no money due at the time the form is submitted to us and we will hold your seat[s] until the deposit due date appearing in your statement.
When you receive your Reservation Statement, we ask you review it carefully. The statement includes links to important tour & travel information as well as our terms & conditions. Additionally, we clearly state your itinerary and provide you with a firm price quote. Your price quote is guaranteed not to increase and receive the best deal we offer.
Once you have read your statement, reviewed your price quote and feel comfortable with the information you have been provided, a deposit payment is required to confirm your reservation.
We use a Milestone Payment Plan that consists of three payments over a period of time, the first Milestone is your deposit payment. Milestone 2 and 3 are due approximately 90 and 120 days prior to your departure date and are equal payments of half the amount of the balance due. The Due dates for all Milestone Payments are displayed in the Billing section of your Reservation Statement.
If you select our Air Upgrade, an estimate of your flights will be included in your price quote. All airfares are purchased by us after the Milestone 2 payment is received. Any adjustment of the estimated price of airfare to the actual price will be reflected in the amount due in your Milestone 3 payment.
How do I make a payment?
You have two options, either post us a check [see address below] or use our secure online facility to pay by credit card. We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover Cards. We use PayPal's credit card payment processing services, the company is reputable and easy to use. We do not see any of your credit card information that you provide to PayPal and you DO NOT need to open an account with PayPal to use this service.
Personal Checks may be mailed to:
InMyLife Inc.
4016-H Battleground Ave. Room 205
Greensboro, NC 27455
How much free time will I have during the tour?
We try to provide our guests with at least one free day in each city. In London, the tour schedule is much tighter than in Liverpool or Hamburg as touring requires more time due delays inherent in dealing with a large and congested city. If you wish to enjoy more of London, as well as Liverpool, you may consider extending your stay to that which is included in the tour package you selected. There is a section on the Reservation Form to add nights in Liverpool and/or London.
During International Beatle Week & The Mathew Street Festival in Liverpool in August, we allocate 5 days in Liverpool. Most of the time on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday is treated as free time for our guests to make decisions as to which events they wish to partake. The events are too numerous to manage as a group. However, your host[s] are available to organize a day full of events based on the consensus of our guests that wish to form a group to enjoy the events Beatle Week and the Mathew Street Festival has to offer.
Will a Host accompany us through the entire tour?
At least one host that is a member of our staff will host each Scheduled Group Tours and Student Tours. They are available 24/7 during the entire duration of your tour to assist you and provide guidance when needed.
Private Tours are non-escorted tours that are driven my a detailed version of our Beatles Pilgrimage Tour Survival Guide that provides extremely detailed instructions and guidance from the time your flight arrives to the time you depart. For Private Tours, your Beatle Guide will met you at your hotel to begin the day's Beatles and London Rock Legends Experience.
